XMP (Extensible Mobile Platform) Product Overview
The remote XMP platform contains all the functionality required to complete field based sales tasks from Sage 200, Sage 50 or Sage MMS. The solution allows sales people to create remotely and process sales orders, purchase orders, view item and customer history, credit ratings, stock levels, sales notes, order confirmations and validity checks. The XMP platform also incorporates GPS location services that provides the option to monitor remote sales staff (TomTom compatible).

XMP includes many modifications to Sage products such as signatures, image viewer, stock control, scheduling and warranty systems, making XMP a complete mobile data solution for Sage.

XMP Mobile Additions

XMP additions suite offers many additional plug-ins and modifications to Sage products to help create a holistic mobile solution.

Signature components embedded in SOP - Electronic signatures collected via a mobile device can be viewed directly through Sage products.

Image components embedded in SOP - Images collected via a mobile device can be viewed directly through Sage products.

Location (GPS) mapping console - The Location console utilizes Microsoft’s Map point, embedded in Sage’s Interface. Allowing a user to view all field personnel’s locations, speed and battery power in close to real time.

Mapping based drag-drop job assignment - To increase the effectiveness of the mapping console we have added a drag-drop based GUI for job assignment. Allowing a user to drag a specific job from a list of previously generated jobs, directly onto a field user’s icon. Allowing a job to be assigned within seconds, with the ability to get instant graphical feedback that the correct job has been assigned to the correct user.

Warranty and serial number modification - Currently Sage MMS does not support the ability to attach serial numbers to parts and furthermore attach warranty information to relevant parts. We have created its warranty module to overcome these issues and allow a user to update
and keep track of their warranty information.

Searchable parts/customer modules - We have added the ability to search for parts and customers.

Appointment/service scheduling system - A major part of a mobile data collection system is the ability to assign appointments to a mobile user. The scheduling system allows mobile data collection forms, sales orders and purchase orders to be attached to a specific appointment. Additional job information can also be attached to an appointment and/ or mobile forms.

Multi-user / Multi-company administration - We have added the ability to control multiple companies and their users directly through Sage products interfaces. This functionality also allows for the management of mobile users. In addition to this we allow for the assignment of differing
product groups to specific users within specific companies.
